Fred H. Bischoff, Sr.

Fred H. Bischoff, Sr., 86, husband of H. Gail (Shuler) Bischoff, Audubon, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Fred was born on January 7, 1939, in Lansdale, PA, to the late Henry L. and Hedwig (Yost) Bischoff. He served in the US Army from 1960 to 1963 as a morse code operator overseas touring Europe.

Before retiring, Fred was a machinist with Amatex-Norfab, Norristown, PA for over 50 years.

Fred loved to ride motorcycles, fix race cars and help his nephew Bobby race dirtbikes and quarter midgets. Fred was a member of the Lower Providence Gun Club and loved spending time at the range shooting trap. Fred also belonged to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Audubon. Above all, Fred was a proud grandfather who deeply adored his two granddaughters.

In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his son, Fred H. Bischoff, Jr., husband of Courtney (Keaveney) Bischoff, Audubon, his granddaughters, Savannah and Sydney Bischoff; and his sister, Elizabeth, wife of the late Robert Kuhnsman, Palmyra, VA.

Fred’s memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 8th, at Augustus Lutheran Church, 717 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Wounded Warriors or Boys Town. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
