Glenda Lu LaGore, age 90, passed away peacefully at her son Glenn's home in Buckeye, Arizona, on October 7, 2025.
Born on January 4, 1935, in Sebring, Ohio, Glenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 16 years, Alan LaGore, and by her sister, Donna Virden.
After her divorce, Glenda moved to Arizona in 1977 with her three young children, courageously starting a new life and building a home filled with love, laughter, and resilience.
She is survived by her children: Denise Taylor; Mark Busard and his spouse Leeann Spaulding; and Glenn Busard and his spouse Laura Busard. Glenda's pride and joy were her eight grandchildren and their spouses: Charles and Heather Herman, Amanda and Kevin Searcy, Alesha Busard, Glenn II and Mia Busard, Jackie and Mike Atwell, Stephanie and Jackson Hendrix, Michelle and Justin Cozad, and Laura Davison. She was also blessed with twelve great-grandchildren, and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.
Glenda enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry and gave freely of her time and talents to organizations such as Arizona Insurance Women and AZCAP. She was known for her sharp wit, great sense of humor, and her gift for making friends easily — traits that drew people to her throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been her 91st birthday, January 4, 2026, at the home of her son Mark in Sun City, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please honor Glenda's generous spirit by donating to a cause you believe in.
Glenda will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, strength, and unshakable love for her family and friends.
