The family of Gloria Logan Donnelly are heartbroken to announce her passing on November 10, 2025 at the age of 80. She passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Worth, Florida.
A vibrant spirit with an immense zest for life. Gloria was cherished by all who knew her and will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the joy she carried into every room.
Born on January 9th 1945, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Rose (Fighera) and Joseph LaTorre.
A native of Nyack, NY, Gloria worked in the printing business before finding her skill of buying and selling art which led her to starting her own business. She owned and operated Flamingo art gallery along with her late husband, Russell Donnelly. Gloria always treasured that part of her life and felt a strong connection to the town of Nyack, NY
Gloria followed her passion for the arts and sunshine to Coral Springs, Florida in the 1990s. There, she created a beautiful new life with her beloved husband, Russ. Together, they built a thriving business in the South Florida art community, owning and curating successful galleries for many years. It was a true joy for her to share art with others. Gloria had a remarkable eye for style and design—an innate ability to recognize beauty, elevate creativity, and inspire those around her.
Gloria truly lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel, explore, and savor every moment. She always looked on the brighter side of life, radiating optimism and grace even in difficult times. Her adventurous spirit and open heart, touched countless lives.
She meant the world to her family. Gloria was a devoted wife, proud grandmother, cherished aunt, loyal sister, and dear friend. Her influence, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Gloria’s memory will forever be celebrated—with gratitude for the beauty she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so generously.
Gloria is predeceased by her parents, Rose LaTorre and Joseph LaTorre and her husband, Russell Donnelly.
She is survived by her brothers, Thomas LaTorre (Carol) and Joseph LaTorre (Marlene) sisters, Joanne Cuccia and Janet Tubito (Dominick)
Many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
