Gordon Alan Lobodinsky, 75, passed away on February 27, 2025, in Conyers, Georgia. Born on May 24, 1949, in East Cleveland, Ohio, Gordon spent his formative years in Cleveland, where he developed a lifelong passion for learning and a deep love for his family.

A proud engineer, Gordon pursued his academic interests at The Ohio State University, where he studied engineering—a field that perfectly aligned with his love of math and physics. His intellectual curiosity extended beyond the technical; he was also deeply engaged with politics and enjoyed thoughtful discussions on the subject throughout his life.

Gordon was the beloved father of Errick O. Lobodinsky. He shared a close bond with his siblings and was the brother of Walter A. Lobodinsky and the late Lawrence A. Lobodinsky. He was also a cherished uncle to Brian A. Lobodinsky and Catherine M. Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L. and Mary S. (Kilpatrick) Lobodinsky, whose guidance and values helped shape the man he became.

Gordon's legacy is one of intellect, dedication to family, and an enduring appreciation for the sciences and civic life. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
