Harry (Tom) Thomas Jenrette

Harry Thomas (Tom) Jenrette 82, of Little River SC, passed away on December 16, 2024, after a brief illness. Tom was born October 13, 1942, in Tabor City, NC Columbus Co, to Harry G. Jenrette and Ruth E. Jenrette.
Tom is survived by son, Thomas, daughter, Ashley(Emily), six granddaughters, Chantel, Elleanor, Daviny, Sullivan, Millie and Justine, former spouse Debra Jenrette, nephew David Del Re plus many other nieces, nephews, and family members. Tom was pre-deceased by his parents and son Kenneth G. Jenrette.
Tom served in the Navy from 1960 to 1963. Upon discharge he worked for various office equipment companies before founding his own company in the Chicago area. During his lifetime, Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Tom was generous to a fault and a person who would bend over backwards for those he cared about. He connected with both young and old. He will be remembered for his huge bonfires, his wild boat rides, his starring role as sheriff in the family movie, Agent Orange, and much more. Tom will always remain in our hearts, though we will not see him around, his impact on our lives and hearts will always remain.
At Tom’s request, his ashes will be interred at a private cemetery near Tabor City, NC and also respectfully requested that no formal service take place. Instead the family encourages loved ones and friends to remember and celebrate the cherished memories they shared with Tom.
