Heidi Sweet

Heidi Sweet, 67, of Fredonia, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Beloved wife of Joseph Atti, she is survived by her daughters Lauren Goretti, Katherine Szymaszek, and Emily Szymaszek; her stepson Nicholas Atti; and her adored grandson Charles Neri. She is also survived by her sisters Susan Shatzel (née Sweet), Deborah Walsh (Michael), Christine Manion (Terry), Holly Sweet Rupp (William), and Laurie Sweet. She was predeceased by her parents, Dolores and Donald Sweet, and sister, Sondra Sweet.

For many years, Heidi was a vibrant member of the Buffalo business community, owning and operating The Madhouse on Hertel Avenue, Buffalo Bungalow on Elmwood Avenue, and the estate liquidation companies Sweet & Harding and Sweet & Company.

Heidi wished to be remembered as a friend to animals, but truly, she was a dear friend to all.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the American Legion Post#928 (7353 Erie Road, Derby, NY 14047), from 12-4 PM.
