Helen Margaret Ross Jones,
beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother,
friend, and nurse, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born on April 2, 1950 to George and Katherine Ross, Helen devoted more than 40 years to her calling as a nurse, inspiring countless patients, colleagues, and friends with her compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication. Her gentle strength and giving spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Helen is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Leo Jones; her daughters, Katie Jones and Amy Jones Demming; her sister, Kathy Wega; her grandchildren, Hanna Kelch, Patrick, Garrett, and Madeline Demming, and Jackson Hudson; and her great-grandchildren, Abel and Delilah. She also leaves behind her nieces Jessica (with children Amelia and Natalie) and Alicia (with children Makayla, Arlo, and Otto).
Helen loved adventures—especially her “mystery mandatory have fun” trips with her grandchildren, which were filled with laughter, stories, and joy. Her zest for life and fearlessness will be remembered forever.
Per her wishes, so we dont get haunted, a private family service will be held at a later time when its warmer.
