Helen Porrazzo

PORRAZZO, Helen (Viglas), of Medford, passed peacefully on November 16, 2025 at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston to the late Theodore Viglas and Mary (Pappas). Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Vincent "Jim" Porrazzo. Loving mother of Andrea Martinello of Medford, Ted Porrazzo and his Fiancé Wendy Brisson of Medford, and Jay Porrazzo and his wife Terri of Medford. Cherished 'Gram' of Jamie DiClemente and her husband Michael, Ryan Martinello and his wife Courtney, Robert Martinello and his wife Samantha, Jake Porrazzo and his Fiancé Ivana Garcia, all of Reading, Adrienne Cronin and her husband Andrew of Medford, and Max Porrazzo of Medford. Proud 'YiaYia' of Giulia, Emilia, Luca, Lena, Roman, Vincent, and Domenic. Dear sister of Bessie Alexander of OH, Catherine Costa of Watertown, Pauline White of Medford, and the late Georgia Volpini, and Peter Viglas. Helen is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her 'best dog friend' Max.

Her Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, ARLINGTON on Friday November 21, 2025 at 10am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
