She was a loving mother to four children: Greg, (Beth)who passed away in February 2020; Pam (Grote)(Rick), who passed away in October 2013; Kathy (McKenrick)(Mark); and Diane (Hudson)(Joe). Imelda was also a proud grandmother of nine and a cherished GiGi to twenty. Her family remembers her as someone who always put others before herself, embodying compassion and resilience throughout her life.

In keeping with her generous spirit, Imelda donated her body to science on the day of her passing. Her ashes were returned to her family on March 26, 2025—a final act that reflected her lifelong commitment to helping others.
Imelda's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by all who called her Mom, Grandma, or GiGi.
May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she leaves behind.
