James Robert Zolad passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Livonia, Michigan. He was born on February 6, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Eileen Zolad and the late Robert Zolad.
Jim began his professional journey as an ATM technician and, through dedication and perseverance, rose to become Vice President of Michigan National Bank, which later became part of Bank of America. His career reflected a steadfast commitment to excellence and leadership.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Michael Zolad, daughter-in-law Reganne, and granddaughter Adrien of Las Vegas; his daughter Allison Scovone and son-in-law Christopher of Livonia; and his sisters Mary Beth (Gae) Anderson and Laurel Ellingsworth. Jim's devotion to his family remained a guiding force throughout his life.
Known for his generous spirit and kind heart, Jim touched many lives with his compassion. He was an avid animal lover and a devoted fan of Detroit sports teams, finding joy in the simple pleasures that brought people together.
Per his wishes, no public services will be held. To honor his memory, donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
