Jane H. Fantin

Jane Horosz Fantin
February 25, 1934 — October 18, 2025

Jane graduated in 1952 from Lorain High School and also attended Divine Redeemer Academy in Elizabeth, PA.

Before her marriage to David Fantin, she was employed at Western Automotive in Elyria in the Estimating Department, Fruehauf in Avon Lake in the Engineering Department, and B. F. Goodrich at the Development Center as Assistant Manager in the Secretarial and Typing Department.

Jane was married to her beloved husband David Anthony Fantin for 57 years until his death. She traveled extensively through Europe and the U.S. with her husband.

She lived in Lorain, Livonia, MI, Westlake, OH, Ann Arbor, MI, Englewood, FL, Garland, TX, and Monclova, OH. Many of the places were because her husband was employed as Controller at Ford Motor Company.

Jane loved and enjoyed sons, Joseph, Gregory, and Mark, and grandchildren, Jillian, David, Gregory Jr, Luke, Jessica, and Ellie. She dedicated her life to her husband and family.

She enjoyed reading and once was an avid bowler in Lorain during her early years.

Jane was very active at St. Peter’s Church while they lived in Lorain. She taught Religion and worked in the Parish Office.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Fantin, her father, Steve Horosz, mother, Yolanda (Kacso) Horosz, brothers, William Horosz, Steve Horosz, and Louis Kacso Jr, and sister Carolyn Astorino .

Jane is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives in Eastern Europe.
