Jane F. (Hughes) Moore, 83, wife of the late Thomas W. Moore, died Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her Audubon, PA home.
Jane was born on June 27, 1942, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Raymond W. and Rose M. (Sinkey) Hughes. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Slippery Rock University and a master's degree in education from the University of Maryland.
Before retiring, Jane was an administrative assistant for PJM Interconnection LLP where she was responsible for the company newsletter. She previously taught middle school English and was a homemaker.
Jane was a proud Democrat and avid follower of news and politics. She always fought for truth and justice. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles, playing UPWORDS, and was also a good golfer. She loved to cook and created amazing meals. She was always planning the next party or gathering. Her cat Simone was her favorite.
Jane is survived by her children, Gordon H. Moore and Jennifer J., wife of Vincent Giorgio, both of Collegeville, PA; her grandchildren, Shane and Evan Giorgio; and her sister, Marilyn Henderson, Palm Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Hughes, Jr.
