Send Flowers
Jane Ransom passed away on October 10, 2025 after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 18, 1949 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William Rodney and Esma Pesta.

Jane always loved gardening and being in nature, but took a special interest in it after moving to Florida because there was a longer growing season. She was always happy when her hands were in the dirt and she could see the fruits of her labor. Jane was especially proud of her aloe plants which grew large enough to have flowers and many baby aloes. It was a special joy when she could give her baby aloe plants out as gifts to her friends and neighbors.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Jane held on so strongly to the hope her creator, Jehovah, held out for her and all of humankind. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." John 5:28,29 She truly believed that not only would there be a resurrection of those lost in death but that of a Paradise Earth. "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it." Psalms 37:29 Jane shared this promise with those she would meet in the ministry. She would also encourage the downhearted of a time when "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4 She wanted all to find the comfort provided by the words of her creator.

Surviving are her three daughters, Elizabeth Nardi (Frank deceased), Abigail Ransom and Megan Westgate, grandson Ian, sister Deborah Rosiak, nieces Lisa Manaseri (Joseph) and Leah Loughney (Rick), and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, Bill Rosiak.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Go Fund Me set up to help her daughters with the medical expenses they incurred caring for her during her illness using the link https://gofund.me/22a1e648d

There will be a Memorial Service for Jane on November 15, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall, 8335 Liman Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34653 at 2 pm eastern time.
