NORTH FORT MYERS - Janet Arlene "Little Janet" Deininger, 92, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in North Fort Myers, Florida. Born on February 14, 1933, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, she lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to her family, her work, and her faith.
Janet graduated from the South Lebanon School District and went on to build a career as a bookkeeper with Hauck Manufacturing. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence made her a valued member of the company throughout her
tenure.
She was deeply rooted in her Christian faith and found spiritual nourishment through online church services. Her belief provided strength and comfort throughout her life.
Janet cherished time spent with family and friends. She found joy in simple pleasures—playing golf under sunny skies and the excitement of a good game of bingo. These hobbies brought her happiness and connected her with others who shared her passions.
She is lovingly remembered by her children:
Dawn Hostetter; Samuel Mann; Crystal Geesey;
Valerie Kipp; Alan; and Audrey Reddinger and her spouse Mike. Her legacy continues through many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Janet is also survived by her brother Richard Stoner; sister Carolyn Stoner; and sisters-in-law
Nancy Stoner and Joan Stoner.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roger Deininger; parents Marlin and Mabel Stoner; brother Marlin Stoner; sons-in-law Glenn Hostetter; and great-grand-daughter Shanna Mann.
Janet's warmth touched all who knew her. Her presence was a blessing to those around her, leaving behind memories that will be treasured for generations.
