Jason Andrew Van Vooren

Jason Andrew Van Vooren, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 54. Born on October 24, 1970, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jason lived a life full of energy, creativity, and love for those around him.

A proud and loving father, Jason is survived by his children Shyanne (Flynt) Kocherer, Tyler Van Vooren, Megan, and Paul, siblings Lani Brockwell, Leon (Evelyn) Van Vooren, and Randy (Chris) Newman, as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends who cherished his vibrant presence. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Diane Newman and Denny Van Vooren, his children Stephen Miller and Christine Van Vooren and his brothers Jack Van Vooren and Ron Newman.

Jason was a skilled and passionate painter whose legacy can be seen throughout the Milwaukee area. His work lives on in iconic locations such as the original Miller Park Stadium and the Milwaukee Panther Arena, among many others. He took great pride in his craft and left his mark—literally and figuratively—on the city he loved.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jason was known for his deep love of music, breakdancing, and classic cars. His charismatic, goofy, and outgoing personality made him unforgettable to everyone who met him. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went and will always be remembered as a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend.

Jason’s spark lives on in the memories of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
