Jean-Paul Maranda

Jean-Paul Maranda, 76, of Winchendon, MA passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 with his family by his side. He will sadly be missed by his family and friends.

Born in Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late Gerald and Rose (Brun) Maranda. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth (Brown) Maranda and his children, Lisa Jones and her husband Tom, Karen Forziati, JP and his wife Kelly. He is also survived by his brother and sisters Leon Maranda, Dianne Sullivan, Doris Coraccio (Guy) and Claudette Goguen. He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren Caitlin, Jake, Jessica, Amanda, Emerson and Brady. He was the loving brother-in-law of Laura Farnsworth and father of his beloved dog, Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Corine Sheppard, Armand Maranda, Donald Maranda, Jeannette Maranda, Mary Maranda, step-siblings Clara, Aline, Maria and Ivon, along with his brothers-in-law Mark Brown and Vance Brown.

A memorial will be held privately at a later date and time.
