Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith, 61, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Warren, Michigan. Born on December 17, 1963, in Florence, Alabama, Jeffrey brought warmth and laughter to those around him throughout his life.
He was the beloved son of James and Wanda Smith and a devoted father to Scott Smith; Rachelle Cetrone and her husband, Zac; Devin Smith and his wife, Taylor; and Kolton Smith and his wife, Caitlyn. Jeffrey's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Joshua, Suzette, Peyton, Preston, Oliver, Owen, Zachary, Carter, and Rowyn. He also leaves behind his siblings, Pam (Joe) Lopetrone and Leonard (Sandy) Smith; his life partner, Catherine Clees; and his beloved nieces and nephews. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his son, Brian Smith.
Known for his great sense of humor and generous spirit, Jeffrey was a loving father and grandfather who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep appreciation for movies and music, passions he enjoyed sharing with family and friends. A proud Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he loved the freedom of the open road. He was also an avid sports fan who relished cheering on his favorite teams.
Jeffrey dedicated seven years of his life to serving in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his discipline and patriotism.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date to honor Jeffrey's memory. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
