Jeffrey A. Whyte, of Macomb, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on May 27, 1946, Jeff was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness and steady presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. He was the proud father of two sons, Matt and Jon (Danielle), who were his greatest joy and constant source of pride. He was the loving grandfather of Patrick and Joe, who brought him endless joy and pride. Jeff especially cherished watching them grow up and sharing in their love of sports—always with a camera in hand, capturing every moment through his passion for photography. Jeff is also survived by his loving sister, Judie Rand (Mort), with whom he shared a lifelong bond of love, laughter and support. He joins his parents William and Harriett (Lyon) Whyte in eternal rest.

Known for his caring nature, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to family, Jeff lived his life with integrity and quiet strength. Whether lending a hand, sharing advice, or simply being there when needed, he embodied what it meant to be a dependable and loving man.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service to honor and remember his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Jeff's memory through an act of kindness or by spending time with the people you love most.
