JoAnne Killeen (nee, Zawisza), 79 of NorthRidgeville, OH, Went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Chist on November 4 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on February 19th 1946 in Cleveland, OH. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend whose creativity and warmth touched everyone she met. She had a lifelong passion for crafting, flower arranging, and creating custom jewelry—each piece she made was a reflection of her generous spirit and artistic heart. Her home was always filled with color, laughter, and the beauty of her handmade creations.
Beyond her talents, JoAnne will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and ability to make everyone feel special. She found joy in life’s simple moments— the love for her Great Pyrenees dogs, and giving thoughtful gifts made with love.
She is survived by children Steven Killeen (Jennifer), Suzanne Killeen grandchildren Jeremy Killeen, Michael Deptowicz, brother Ronald Zawisza (Donna) and many nieces and nephews along with friends who will continue to cherish her memory and the creative spark she passed down to them. She was preceded in death by husband William F Killeen and parents Joseph Zawisza (Ann)
A celebration of JoAnne's life will be held on a later date in the spring of 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a life beautifully lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made Friendship APL Lorain County, in memory of JoAnne.
Her creativity, love, and gentle spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of those who knew her.
