**Jocelyn Danielle Burton**, 32, of Locust Fork, Alabama, passed away on November 6, 2025, at UAB hospital.
Born on August 28, 1993, in Birmingham, Jocelyn—affectionately known to many as "Jocie"—brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew her. A proud Alabamian through and through, she was deeply rooted in her community and faith. She attended Union Chapel Baptist Church and lived her life guided by Christian values of compassion, love, and service.
Jocie had a deep love for reading and could often be found lost in the pages of a good book. She was an avid fan of Alabama football and the NFL, cheering passionately during every game. But above all else, Jocie cherished time spent with her family. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in every moment shared with them.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Connie Owens (Danny) Her Husband, Johnathan Davis; sisters Rebecca Brooks (Roger) and Autumn Calvert (Cody); brothers Timothy Owens, Anthony Owens (Emily), Michael Owens (Kimberly), Dillon Burton (Allie), Morgan Burton, Hunter Blackwell, and Logan Blackwell; as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews who brought immense joy to her life.
Jocie was preceded in death by her father Joe Burton; grandmothers Millie Whitworth and Ruby Burton; and nephews Conner Johnson and Tanner Johnson.
Those who knew Jocie will remember her as the most loving, caring, hilarious, and empathetic person—truly one of a kind. Her absence leaves a void that words cannot express. To know Jocie was to love her; she touched countless lives with her kindness and radiant spirit.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Viewing will be held on November 14, 2025, from 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Union Chapel Baptist Church, 23286 SR-79 Trafford, AL (Viewing for Family will start at 4) A Funeral Service & Burial will be held on November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Union Chapel Baptist Church 23286 SR-79 Trafford, AL. Burial to follow at Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. (Funeral and burial will be for family and close friends.)
