John August Huettner

John August Huettner, 66, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, passed away on October 14, 2025.

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and an accomplished litigator, John took great pride in his work throughout his career. He took equal pride in raising his two sons, Brett Huettner (Ashley) and Jesse Huettner, by whom he is survived.

Beloved brother of Timothy Huettner (Debbie), Christine Williams, and Linda DeOreo, John was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Analie Huettner; his brothers, Donald and David Huettner; and his brothers-in-law, David Williams and Peter DeOreo.

In recognition of the importance of compassion, family support, and recovery, those wishing to honor John's memory may consider a donation to the National Association for Children of Addiction (NACoA). A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date; details will be shared when available.
