John Edward O’Grady
Jr., 82, passed away on
October 28, 2025, in
Tampa, FL. He is sur-
vived by his children,
Charlene and John,
three grandsons, a
great-grandson, sever-
al siblings, nieces and
nephews.
John served honorably
in the United States
Marine Corp.
John had a successful
career at Verizon from
which he retired after
many years of dedicat-
ed service. Known for
his loving and kind na-
ture, John cherished
his family deeply and
was always ready to
lend a helping hand or
a listening ear. He will
be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life
memorial service will
be held at 12:00 p.m.
on November 23, 2025,
at Signal Cove Event
Center
13139 Tiller Dr, Hud-
son, FL. Friends, fam-
ily, and former col-
leagues are invited to
gather to honor his
memory and legacy.
