Johnathan Anderson

Johnathan Charles Anderson, 34, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Michigan City, Indiana. Born on September 13, 1990, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Johnathan brought warmth and positivity to those around him.

A proud graduate of high school, Johnathan pursued a two-year welding degree before continuing his education at Ivy Tech Community College. There, he completed a rigorous three-year program in heating and cooling. His dedication and skill led him to a fulfilling career with Midwest Refrigeration. He was also a member of the 597 Plumber's Union based in Mokena, Illinois—an affiliation that reflected his commitment to craftsmanship and professional excellence.

Johnathan found great joy in both his work and personal life. He approached each day with optimism and enthusiasm, qualities that left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Outside of work, he enjoyed bowling and sharing fine dining experiences with his friend Sam—moments that brought laughter and connection into his life.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who carry it forward. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 26, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM at Michigan City Senior Center 2 on the lake
