Joseph Elmer Pops Jr. was born November 10, 1975, in Gary Indiana to the late Joseph Elmer Pops Sr. and Bonnie Jewell Pops. On Tuesday September 23, 2025, surround by his loving children, friends and family Joseph peacefully transitioned into eternal life.Joseph worked as a Reserve and an Animal Control Officer with the Gary Police Department for many years. He did security for the Gary community schools and Miller Flea market. Owner of On the Spot Mobile Wash and Urban Beauty Models, where though the lens of his camera he brought life.
Joseph Founded the biker clubs 219 Riderz and Undefeated MC. Joseph Started Driving Trucks in 2016 during his trucking career he was a driving instructor for 160 Driving Academy. Joseph enjoyed holidays and spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, auntie Willy Mae Williams, Uncle Larry Hardy, nephew Jeomaree Reynolds, and brother Detrice Jones. He leaves to cherish his memories his 6 children: Dejanae Pops, Jewelisha Pops, Trevontae Pops, Jovaughn Pops, Alexia Odom, and Joseph E. Pops lll. Sisters Bonita (Roosevelt) Mack, Farashawn Pops, Latoya Wilson and brothers David Pops and Derrick Cannon, 7 Grandchildren 3 aunties and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
