Juanita Linda Rutherford

Juanita Linda "Lynnie" Rutherford passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on March 14, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, Lynnie lived a life marked by quiet strength and enduring affection for those she held close.

In her early years, Lynnie pursued a career as a welder—a field she found both fascinating and fulfilling. Her curiosity and determination led her to later train as a dental hygienist, where she continued to apply her skills with care and precision. Whether working with metal or helping others maintain their health, Lynnie approached each chapter of her professional life with dedication.

Though she often chose solitude, Lynnie's heart was deeply connected to her family. She cherished photographs of loved ones, each image serving as a treasured reminder of shared moments and enduring bonds. While she never had children of her own, Lynnie embraced her role as an aunt with boundless love. Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life, and she celebrated them with quiet pride.

Lynnie is lovingly remembered by her sisters Claudia Gowens, Farah Stone, Marge Cummings, and Phyllis Rutherford; and by her brothers Wayne Rutherford, Don Rutherford, Ron Rutherford, and Doug Barrett along with many loved relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother Emellee W Rutherford and father James Warren Rutherford, sister Lisa David and brother Jim Rutherford.

In keeping with her generous spirit, Lynnie was an organ donor—an act that reflects the quiet compassion that defined so much of who she was.
