Chris was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. She was an avid reader, collector of historic events, a philatelist, and collector of recipes, puzzles, and music. Still playing her vinyl albums. She loved her sports teams. A diehard Yankee fan, soccer and Miami Dolphins football fan too. Her profile for FB was Patrick Mahomes. When her grandchildren stopped by she would cook their favorite meals but they always raved about her egg sandwiches, meatloaf, and famous spaghetti sauce recipe passed down from her father Sid.
Chris played the piano like her mom, played games with her grandchildren and was a promoter of them being all they wanted to be. From art to sports, music or attending concerts Chris was their cheerleader, biggest fan and trusted advisor. She took Michael & Peter to see The Who for their first rock concert in 1982. When it came to jokes, she laughed the hardest and the longest until she would shed a tear. Her travels took her to many places in Europe, US, and Canada to attend Maves family reunions, and her adventures with Pauline to a few pubs when in Ireland. Her meticulously archived collection of movie passes, museums, sporting events, and concert ticket stubs, has allowed her children and grandchildren to remember her full life enjoying the finest in culture and the arts.
Chris always wanted to donate her body to science, and her children fulfilled her selection to UT Southwestern Medical Center- Willed Body Program.
Remembrances may be made to some of Chris's favorite charities; American Heart Association, ASPCA, Pet Rescue, or local Children's Hospitals.
