Mrs. Judith Ann "Judi" Spencer, 77, passed away on September 28, 2025, in Flower Mound, Texas. Born on November 23, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Judi lived a life marked by deep faith, enduring love, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her.

Judi's journey of faith began early in life when her grandmother Sparks took her to church. At just eight years old, she accepted Christ—an experience that remained foundational throughout her life. Her eyes would light up whenever she shared that story, a testament to the joy and conviction with which she lived her beliefs. Her faith was not only personal but also transformative for those around her; she played a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual life of her beloved husband Jeff.

Education was an important chapter in Judi's life. She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, where she majored in Education. It was there, on the very first day of class in September 1968, that she met Jeff Spencer. That moment sparked a courtship that blossomed into a marriage lasting a lifetime—a union built on mutual respect, shared values, and unwavering devotion.

Professionally, Judi enjoyed a long and fulfilling administrative career with IBM from October 1974 until June 2010. Her entry into IBM came with an amusing twist: Jeff had gone to interview for a position at the company and returned home to find that Judi had received an unexpected call from IBM asking her to come in for an interview as well. In the end, it was Judi who got the job Jeff had interviewed for—though he joined the company himself a year later. This story became one of many cherished anecdotes from their shared life together.

Judis creativity and warmth extended far beyond the workplace. She had a passion for cooking and delighted in crafting all kinds of culinary creations. Among her favorite pastimes was baking beautiful cakes—each one made with care and artistic flair. Her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of something delicious underway and the joyful anticipation of sharing it with others.

She also had a special fondness for shopping on QVC and took great pride in finding just the right gifts for those she loved. Christmas held particular magic for Judi—especially "Christmas in July," when she would begin crafting individualized gift lists for each person dear to her heart. Her enthusiasm was so infectious that Jeff often joked QVC might send someone to check on her if she ever missed too much shopping time.

Judi is survived by her loving husband Jeff Spencer; sisters Karen Doerr and Kristy Rippey; sister Sandra Sheehan and husband Ray; niece Shannon Duncan and husband Jeff; brother-in-law Norman Spencer; and many friends whose lives were brightened by her kindness and generosity.

She is also survived by her dearest friend of 30 years Sharron Bradley whom she met at IBM.

Judi's heart truly was as big as Texas. She constantly looked for ways to make life better for others—whether through thoughtful gifts, heartfelt encouragements, or simply being present when someone needed support.

A memorial service celebrating Judi's life will be held at Brookhaven Baptist Church 6101 Stacy Rd McKinney , Texas on October 18, 2025 at 11:30.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire acts of love and faithfulness in all who carry forward her legacy. A Memorial Gathering will be held on October 18, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 02:00 PM at Brookhaven Church 6101 Stacy Rd
