Kae Ellen Englander

Kae Ellen Englander (née Small), age 92, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, in Venice, Florida. Born on June 8, 1933, in Boston, Massachusetts, Kae Ellen lived a full and vibrant life marked by love for her family and a passion for the activities that brought her joy.

Throughout her life, Kae Ellen embraced many roles with grace and strength. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Elliot Englander, and a loving mother to their children, Marla Englander and Harris Englander, both of whom preceded her in death. Her legacy continues through her cherished partner Ralph Rinaldo; her grandchildren Mitchell Englander, Gabrielle Englander, Matthew Englander, and Elizabeth Englander; and her great-grandchild Mary Ann Cordle.

Kae Ellen was known for her giving nature but also her competitive drive, especially on the golf course. A successful and accomplished golfer, she played tournaments at the TPC in Sarasota, Florida, where she found both challenge and camaraderie. Her love of games extended to bridge, which she played with other golfers at her country club. She also found joy and exercise in swimming.

Those who knew Kae Ellen remember her as a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her presence brought warmth to every gathering and strength to every challenge. She lived with vitality and encouraged others to do the same.

In honoring Kae Ellen’s memory, her family invites all who knew her to celebrate her life by embracing happiness.

A Funeral Service will be held on October 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Jewish Congregation of Venice 600 N. Auburn Rd. There will be a gathering at her home after the service.
