Kale Allan Jones, 45, passed away on October 4, 2025, in West Valley City, Utah. Born on October 6, 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kale brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.
Kale was a force of nature—handsome in his own right with sparkling blue eyes, a contagious laugh, and hugs that could bury you in warmth. His presence was unmistakable: he walked heavy, laughed hard, and moved through life like the Tasmanian devil—leaving behind a trail of dust, debris and unforgettable memories.
Kale was a long-haul trucker through and through. From an early age, he found joy in the open road and took pride in his chosen trade. His eyes would light up when he spoke of his adventures behind the wheel. He loved camping and mountain life and cherished time spent with family. A devoted fan of the University of Utah Utes and the Dallas Cowboys, Kale also enjoyed golf—even if he often joked about how much he "sucked" at it.
He leaves behind his children, Tanner and Breck Jones; their mother, Beth; his parents, Kolyn and Cindy Stanley; his love, Kimmi Jones; stepson Hunter; brother Brody Stanley (Ashley) and their son Jay; step-siblings Kris, Kody, and Kristin; and grandmother Ferol Whitfield. He is also remembered by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews—and countless others whose lives were touched by his generous spirit.
Kale was preceded in death by his father Tom Jones; brother Breck Don Jones; grandparents Don and Donna Parkin and Raymond and Norma Jones; as well as his beloved great-grams Mary Parkin.
A celebration of Kale's life will be held where laughter is welcome and tears are optional. In honor of Kale's wishes, please leave your suits and ties at home—come dressed comfortably or sport your favorite Utes or Cowboys gear. If you have stories or memories to share about Kale's life and legacy, they are warmly welcomed.
