Kandy Kay Allen

Kandy Kay Allen (Richey), 71, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Kandy was a vibrant and loving woman whose greatest joy was her family. She was fiercely compassionate and understanding, always putting the needs of her children and grandchildren first. Her love for them was unconditional, she loved them more than anything and would do anything for them. Kandy will also be fondly remembered for her lifelong passion for sewing and her gift for cooking delicious meals for everyone she loved. A true fighter with an unwavering spirit, she battled her illnesses to the very end.

She is survived by her loving children: Mike Hamblin (Danielle), Bob Hamblin (Kathy), Matt Hamblin (Jessy), and Lindsay Dixon (Andrew). Kandy was cherished by her grandchildren: Eliana Hamblin, Ivan Hamblin, Isaac Allen, Jaden Allen, Destiny Alexander, Dantay Alexander, Lilianna Dixon, Landon Dixon, and Katrina Colchado (Omar) along with great-grandson Santiago. She is also survived by her dear sister and brother, Penny Mullins and Robert (Lou) Richey.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life in her honor. We thank you for your understanding as we mourn privately.

The family requests that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kandy's name to Dignity Health Foundation East Valley.

The family is deeply grateful for the exceptional care Kandy received. Special thanks are extended to the entire staff of the Chandler Regional's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for their compassionate and dedicated support.
