Karen Gekle

Karen Gekle, age 67 of Harbor Beach, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1957 in Detroit to the late Carl Gekle and Margaret (Hamilton) Lautner. Karen worked in real estate for many years and then selling cars. Karen loved her miniatrure schnauzer dogs, Zoey and Diva. She was always in her yard, working on home improvements.
She is survived by her siblings: Linda (Carl) Krumenacker, Robert (Special friend Sandy) Gekle and Ronald (Paula) Gekle, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on December 13, 2025 from 12 noon until 4 pm, at the Harbor Beach Library. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach.
