Born in South Buffalo, New York, on January 2, 1947 Katherine “Kathie” Kinnear Manning, passed away peacefully at home, October 5th 2025. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother who brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone who knew her.

A proud and supportive military wife, Kathie stood steadfastly beside her husband, Eugene Manning, throughout their 61 years together, offering strength and love through every chapter and every move. She is survived by Eugene and their three children — Bonnie, Debbie, and Gene — who will forever carry her kindness, humor, and generous spirit in their hearts.

Kathie shared a special lifelong bond with her beloved sister, Bonnie — the two were born one year apart on the same day, January 2, a joyful coincidence and treasured connection between them throughout their lives.

She adored her family, including her four grandsons (Chris, Richard, Alex & Nick), one granddaughter (Emerie) and three great-grandchildren (Ivy, Burke & Jing Xi) each of whom brought her endless joy and pride. Her sense of humor and fun-loving nature made every gathering brighter, and her deep love of Christmas filled her home with magic year after year — a season she celebrated with unmatched enthusiasm and delight.

She will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love — the kind that made everyone feel at home.
