Kathy Avent

Our beloved mother, Kathy Avent, passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 17, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born in Pueblo, Colorado, to Ben and Frances Pacheco, Kathy was one of fourteen children. She was known for her love for her seven children, her generous heart, her amazing cooking, her silliness, her stubbornness, and her timeless beauty.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dallas; her first child, William; her sister, Barbara; her brother, Victor; and other cherished family members who have welcomed her home.

She is survived by her children, Ali, Sheila, Randy (Amanda), Matthew (Tiffany), Kayleine (Robert), and Madison; her grandchildren, Kylie, Isabella, Juliannah, Reyce, Liam, Logan, and Elara; and her great-grandchild, Weston. She also leaves behind many siblings whom she adored and countless family members whose lives she touched.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, strength, perseverance, and generosity will live on through all who knew her.

A celebration of Kathy's life will take place on November 8, 2025 at 6pm, at the American Legion in Northglenn, Colorado. All who knew and loved her are welcome.
