Keith Oliver, aka Omani Kamau Ojore, passed away on September 11, 2025, in Pattaya, Thailand, at the age of 67. Born on May 30, 1958, in Racine, Wisconsin, he was the beloved son of the late Raymond G. and Irene Oliver.
Keith graduated from Washington Park High School and continued his education at Gateway Technical College. He went on to cultivate a dynamic career with General Motors, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglas. His work took him across the globe—including Afghanistan, Mexico City, Brazil, and Qatar—where he was known for his dedication and professionalism.
A passionate traveler and adventurer, Keith embraced life through meaningful connections with people and cultures around the world. His journeys were filled with vibrant friendships and unforgettable experiences that reflected his boundless curiosity and zest for life.
Keith also found joy in music and movement. As a roller skater and disc jockey, he brought energy to every rink and dance floor he touched. His love for rhythm created spaces of joy and celebration wherever he went.
He is lovingly remembered by his former wife Glenda Ferguson; his son Marques (Ana) Caos; granddaughter Nayeli; and siblings Patrick Allen, Kenny (Lena), Kevin, Raymond, Kimberly, Kurtis (Mynette), and Kelly Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Tonya McGregor and Tasha Oliver; and nephew Ishmail Oliver.
Keith's life was a tribute to creativity, connection, and resilience. His legacy lives on through the joyful memories shared by those who knew him.
