Kenneth Edward Vanlandghen, aged 64, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Mountain, WI
Ken was renowned for his vibrant personality and his role as a loving father and friend. His personality was infectious, often being the life of the party and a true leader during adventurous ATV and motorcycle rides. Ken found peace later in life on his land in Mountain, where he cherished relaxing on his deck overlooking his pond, and catching abnormally large panfish off his dock. He was an elaborate storyteller, known for his engaging tales complete with sound effects—no matter how many times he had told them before.
His hobbies included motorcycle riding, spending time with his family and friends, and embracing the great outdoors through ATV riding, ice fishing, sturgeon spearing, and hunting. Though he often joked about his brief hunting expeditions where he would spend a half hour in the woods, shoot a deer, and be back in the warmth before anyone else, his true joy was simply being in nature.
Ken leaves behind his wife, Terri Vanlandghen; his brother, Rick (Amy) Vanlandghen; his children, Ryan (Stephanie) Homman, Boyd (Molly) Vanlandghen, and Lee (Callie) Vanlandghen; and his cherished grandsons, Ben and Ian Homman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Yvonne Vanlandghen as well as his brother John Vanlandghen.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at Timber Lounge in Kimberly WI on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm, where friends and family can gather to share stories and memories.
