Kent Marcel Trimble

On October 30, 2025 Kent Marcel Trimble passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side. His entire family are thankful for the 71 years he so generously gave of himself. Kent is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years Jane; Daughters Bonnie (Kevin); Shelley (Randy); Grandchildren Gavin, Daniel and Milo; Bonus Grandchildren Jessica and Ethan; siblings Ian (Helen), Bruce, Wendy (Kevin), Cindy (Garry) and Norm; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kent was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 3, 1954. His dad was in the Canadian Air Force, which allowed them to live in many parts of Canada. This set the stage for his passion for travelling with family and friends. He loved camping , fishing and travelling with his grandchildren. He cherished their trips to Thunder Bay . He often talked about his favourite destination Kauai, together with his family exploring the island and the ocean. As a high school student, Kent played every sport his school offered and later on he enjoyed playing hockey , soccer and golf. He spent many hours with his daughters watching the Thunder Bay Chill play soccer. Kent was a collector of many things, but his most important collection was his family and friends. He would do anything for them. Kent never saw his glass as half empty or half full. He always saw it as overflowing. Thank you to the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and the Grey Nuns Community Hospital Palliative Care Unit 43 for their outstanding care and compassion.
A funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Friday, November 7 at 7 pm. Inurnment to follow at a later date.
