Larry Polsonetti, 75, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, in Fort Myers.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Ann Polsonetti; his daughter Beth Kalbacher and her husband Dallas; his son Michael Polsonetti and his wife Kim; and his cherished grandson Benny, who brought endless joy to his life.

Known affectionately by many names—Dad, Gramps, and Boston Larry—he carried each with pride and humor.

A native of Massachusetts, Larry served with dedication as a police officer in Lynn, MA, before retiring and settling in Fort Myers, which he called home for the past 20 years. Though he embraced Florida’s sunshine, his heart forever belonged to Boston—especially its beloved sports teams, which he followed faithfully through every season.

Larry will be remembered for his quick wit, steady presence, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired and the values he instilled in those around him.

A private service will be held for his family. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor his memory by cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics—just as he would have wanted.
