Laura Lee Moriarty (née Davis), age 65, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in New Britain, Connecticut.
Born on June 10, 1960, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Laura brought warmth and compassion into the world from the very beginning. Throughout her life, she remained deeply committed to caring for others—a calling that defined her both personally and professionally. Her unwavering dedication to those around her was a hallmark of her character.
Laura was an extraordinary caretaker who spent her entire life putting others before herself. Whether through her work or in her personal life, she offered comfort and support with a selflessness that touched countless lives. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she had a unique ability to make people feel seen and valued.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Sean Moriarty, Cathryn Moriarty, and Charles Moriarty. Laura also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren—Ryley, Madison, Ethan, and Audrey—who brought immense joy to her life and with whom she shared countless treasured moments.
Laura was preceded in death by her long-time partner, John Hussey. Their bond was one of deep companionship and enduring love.
