Lesley Ann Nortridge-Lehman, born on January 11, 1966, in Freeport, Illinois, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Ronceverte, West Virginia. She was 59 years old.
Lesley’s life was marked by dedication—to her family, her country, and her personal growth. A proud graduate of Freeport High School in the Class of 1984, she later pursued higher education and earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University in 2005. Her commitment to learning and service reflected the strength and determination that defined her character.
Lesley served honorably as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army for two decades, from July 23, 1993 until August 1, 2013. Her years of military service were a testament to her courage and sense of duty.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Patrick Lehman and Brittney Lehman; her sisters Yvonne Nortridge, Brandae (Nortridge) Hilby, and Suzanne (Nortridge) Schoff; as well as her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Lesley’s legacy continues through them and the many lives she touched with her resilience and spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Danielle Lehman; her parents John Nortridge and Valentina (Nortridge) Hein; and her sister Mary (Nortridge) Peters.
May Lesley’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
