It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Leslie Ann Jensen, age 70, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Born on September 15, 1954, in Albuquerque, Leslie grew up in her hometown and later pursued higher education in New Mexico and Virginia. She earned a bachelor's degree, followed by multiple master's degrees - a testament to her lifelong love of learning. A devout Christian throughout her life, Leslie converted to Catholicism as an adult, embracing her faith with sincerity and conviction.

Leslie was an artist, photographer, and educator. Her teaching career spanned the United States—particularly Virginia and New Mexico—as well as international posts in Japan and Germany. She was a dynamic, engaging, and deeply effective instructor who inspired and enriched the lives of countless students and colleagues.

Known for her boundless energy, love of the arts, quirky sense of humor, radiant beauty, and bright spirit, Leslie had a gift for truly seeing people. She engaged with others with empathy, generosity, and kindness. Her homes reflected her discerning eye and creative soul—each one a beautifully curated space filled with art and unique furnishings inspired by her travels around the world.

Leslie left us far too soon. She will be forever loved and always remembered.
