Lillian Ann Dillinger, passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 2, 2025 in Lexington, KY.
Lillian was born on April 27, 1937 in Pueblo, Colorado to Lee & Elizabeth Greenlee. Lillian began working at the age of 15, with her first job at the The Broadmoor Hotel, in Colorado Springs. She married Tom Dillinger in 1957 and later moved with her family to Worland, WY in 1974 where she lived for 43 years.
In 1994, Lillian began working in respite care, providing excellent, personal care for many families in Worland - a calling she loved and cherished dearly. Lillian enjoyed and was skilled at sewing, quilting, gardening, and crafting. She also loved to repurpose anything she found, particularly from yard sales.
In 2017, she moved to live near family in Lexington, KY where she was a resident of Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods. She was a favorite of both staff and residents, always smiling and showing kindness to everyone.
Lillian will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Dan) Carothers, sons William (Karla) Dillinger of Lexington, KY, David (Laura) Dillinger of Colorado Springs, CO, her brothers John (Jeanne) Greenlee of Cedaredge, CO, Richard (Aki) Greenlee of Palm Springs, CA and sister Trena (Joe) Mendoza of Peonia, CO. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Georgia McKay of Arkansas. Lillian leaves behind 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren of whom she was very proud.
