Linda Lee Foster Millsap entered the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, after a life devoted to faith, family, and service.

Born in Detroit, Michigan to Jack and Mary Foster, Linda's compassionate heart led her into nursing, where she cared for those who needed it most, from new mothers and seniors to those facing mental health challenges and even the incarcerated. Her gentle strength and unwavering belief that everyone deserved dignity made her not just a nurse, but a true healer.

As a teenager, Linda danced on American Bandstand, where Dick Clark affectionately nicknamed her "Red," a reflection of her fiery red hair and vibrant spirit that would light up any room.

Linda's greatest joy was being a mother and a grandmother. She was an active and present parent and grandparent, always at school events, sporting and extra-curricular events, serving in the PTA, and quickly became a beloved "second mom" to her children's and grandchildren's friends. She loved to cook and pass her skills and recipes to her kids and grandkids. Her home was open, full of joy, and her love unconditional.

A creative soul, Linda was known for her flair for arts and crafts, decorating, and her ability to make any space feel warm and for everyone to feel welcome. Linda brought her southern charm and hospitality wherever she went.

She shared a special lifelong bond with her brother, John and her sister-in-law Pam whom she loved dearly and who cared for her in her final years, and she cherished her little sister Peggy. Linda's deep and loyal friendship with her best friend of 44 years, Christine David, was more like that of sisters. Together, they shared countless adventures, unwavering support, and a mutual love for each other's families.

Above all, Linda's life was anchored in her faith. She had a passion for studying Scripture and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met. Her greatest wish was for her life to be a reflection of Christ's love, a legacy she leaves deeply imprinted on all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her children Jen (and son-in-law Derek), Philip (and daughter-in-law Rachael), and Ryan (and daughter-in-law Brittany); her grandchildren Ethan, Joshua, Jasmine, Nicole, Kaleb and Kyle, Victoria, Collin, Cohen, Harlow, Aubree, Jase, Sophia; her brother John (and sister-in-law Pam) and niece Stephanie (and husband Tyler) and nephew Jason; her sister Peggy and nephews Alex and Garrett; her best friend and sister in Christ, Christine David, and goddaughter Julia; and her love, Tony Millsap.

She joins in heaven her beloved parents, her first husband and children's father, Mike Yoder; and many other loved ones who welcomed her home.

True to her lifelong commitment to helping others, Linda chose to continue supporting the medical community by donating her body to science.

A celebration of her life will take place in early 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor her beautiful spirit and the enduring light of her faith.
