Linda Marie Ringo

Linda Marie Ringo (Chasteen), 78, of Brooksville, passed away on November 8, 2025, in Ormond Beach, FL. Born on July 10, 1947, Linda dedicated her life to education and family, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Linda graduated from Florida State University and went on to serve as a passionate educator for 35 years in Hernando County. She worked at various educational levels, specializing in English and Literature, and took great pride in her involvement with the Tech Prep program, where she nurtured the potential of many young individuals.
Beyond her professional life, Linda was a caring, loyal, and dedicated mother, wife, and friend. She was married for 46 years to her beloved husband Tom, who preceded her in death, along with her parents. Her creativity was expressed through painting, florals, crafting, and singing, talents that brought joy to those around her.
Linda is survived by her brother Glenn and his wife Ana, sister Christina, daughter Christie and her fiancé Matt, son Stephen and his wife Lori, and grandchildren Michael, Jordan, and Katie. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 200 South Brooksville Ave., Brooksville, FL 34601. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages loving donations to your local Hospice Association, honoring Linda's compassionate spirit.
