Linda Marie Weirich

Linda M. Weirich, 62, of Grapevine, TX, passed away on October 5, 2025, at Methodist Southlake Medical Center in Southlake, TX after a courageous four-year battle with colon cancer.

She was born in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Arvella Weirich. She is survived by her children, Benjamin Weirich of Wylie, TX and JD Weirich of Grapevine, TX; her brother, Bradley Weirich (Robin) of Hollidaysburg, PA; and her nephews, Zachary and Matthew Weirich.

Linda was a 1981 graduate of Academy High School in Erie, PA.

She worked many years for Verizon in both Erie and Texas. She was also a small business owner and entrepreneur in Hollidaysburg, PA, and later held various positions with other companies before eventually retiring from AAA.

Linda was a loving mother who coached her sons’ Little League teams and never missed a game. She was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, and she enjoyed fishing. She especially loved sitting near the beach, listening to the waves.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services. Arrangements are being handled by Jim’s Funeral Home in Hurst, TX.
