Lois Belle Holm (Parpart), 83, of Shoreview, passed away peacefully at home November 6th with her family by her side.
Lois was born in Minneapolis, MN to Myrtle and Lawrence Freeman.
She devoted nearly 30 years to U.S. Bank, retiring as an operations Manager. She played a key role in streamlining, standardizing, and automating operational processes, as well as coordinating every detail of major moves for company expansions. Lois was admired not only for her exceptional skills, but also for the care, dedication, and professionalism she brought to every task.
Lois cherished spending time with family at the cabin on Long Lake near Aitkin, MN throughout her life, as well as visiting her brother and sister-in-law in Fountain Hills, Arizona. She loved playing cards and was known for her selflessness, quiet strength, and thoughtfulness. If you knew Lois, it’s likely you were the lucky recipient of one of her heartfelt cards.
She is survived by her brother, Frank Freeman (Kris); children, Randy Parpart (Brenda), Shelly Torniainen (Veli), and Sherry Weinand (Kris); Grandchildren, Sean Weinand, Bryan Weinand, Kyleigh Parpart, Matias Torniainen, many nieces and nephews as well as countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Brynn Torniainen.
A celebration of Lois’s life will be held Wednesday, December 10, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Edinburgh USA, 8700 Edinbrook Crossing, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443.
