Lori (Turner) Hajec

Lori Hajec was the purest form of a loving mother and wife - devoted, present, and endlessly proud of her family. She married her college sweetheart, Rick, and together they built a life rooted in family, togetherness, and love. Lori’s greatest joy was raising her three children and embracing her grandchildren. She poured herself into their world, volunteering in their classrooms and PTAs.

A small-town girl with a big, generous heart, Lori made people feel welcomed and cared for. She stayed close to those she cherished, never letting time or distance dim her connections. She was warm and friendly, a hugger who meant it. Lori created a warm, inviting home, filling it with thoughtful touches throughout and homemade soup.

Lori loved the beach - happiest with sand beneath her feet and a sunset on the horizon. She was selfless, gracious, and endlessly caring. A beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, Lori’s kindness and light will be deeply missed by many.

Lori has joined her parents, Jack and Polly; her father-in-law, Dick; her brother, Doug; and her beloved nephew, Zack, in heaven. She is survived by her husband, Rick, and her three children, Abby (her husband, Dave), Jake (his wife, Sam), Anna (her husband, Ben); her two grandchildren Blake and Grey; her sister Linda (her husband, Dennis), her stepsiblings, Lisa, Jill, Greg, Tim, Terri; her in-laws, Jeanne, Lucy, Ted, Jane, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-4PM on Saturday, November 15th at Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation and Salem Animal Rescue League.

When a cardinal visits, a sunflower blooms, or a butterfly flies by, think of Lori and the memories you shared.
