Louis A. Lincoln

Louis A. Lincoln "Andrew"age 74 of Gary,In departed this world on October 19, 2025.
He graduated from West Side High School in 1970. While at West Side, he pursued activities on the track team. After graduation, he began work for the Gary Police Garage. He later moved to Toledo, OH. While there, he attended the University of Toledo where he received his first associate's degree in Waste Water Treatment. After his time there, Andrew returned home to Gary where he received his second associate's degree in Auto Mechanics from Ivy Tech University. He then began work at Lee's Auto Glass and Trim as a glass installer and mechanic.
Andrew was baptized in the A.M.E. Zion faith and attended St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church in Gary,In.
Andrew is preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Helen Lincoln; brother, Eugene Lincoln; sister, Grace King; paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins. He leaves behind to celebrate his legacy his son by choice, Monte Williams of Gary, In., sisters, Deborah Wise of Gary, In., Gwendolyn (Joseph) Thompson of Hammond, In., brother, Virgil (Renee) Lincoln of Gary, In., and 3 special siblings (Andy, Faye and Emily). Special Nieces Jowana Walker of Gary, In., Shamaiya (Edgar) Turnipseed of Gary, In., Jazmyn Walker of Gary, In.,and Latasha Thompson of Kinston, NC. Special Nephews, David Wise of Gary, In., Virgil Lincoln, Jr. of Gary, In, Joseph Thompson, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO., Omar Lincoln of Indianapolis, In., and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
