Louise F. (Vendetti) Areano 83, suddenly passed away on November 11, 2025, at her home in Wellesley. Born in Milford, she grew up in Franklin. She was the daughter of Joseph Vendetti and Mary (Mickey) Vendetti.

Louise was a graduate of Henry O. Peabody School of Norwood High School. She was a loyal employee for the Town of Wellesley, serving 25 years. She married John in 1960 (they would have been married 65 years this November) and went on to raise three children. She transitioned to a new career as an activities director for Newton Wellesley Alzheimer's, where she retired.

Earlier in life, her summers were enjoyed sitting on the beach at her family home in Cape Cod, that included great conversations, jokes, laughter, penny poker, random cookouts with dear friends and family. Louise loved doing craftwork, where she designed and created many blankets and quilts that she gifted to her friends and family members that display them proudly still.

Louise is survived by her husband John Areano, her daughter Marie Ritt, her husband Matthew, her son John Areano Jr., her son Robert Areano his wife Suzanne. Her three grandsons Jeffrey Gustafson, Gregory Gustafson, Marc Gustafson, and her loving dog Iris. Her four siblings, sisters Nancy McDonald, her husband Clifford, Dorothy Leoncavallo, her husband Gino, Jean Bonetti, her husband Lawrence, and her brother Joseph Vendetti, his wife Cynthia, and along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary (Mickey) Vendetti and her loyal companion, her dog Benny.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 17th, between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM at the Henry J. Burke & Son's Funeral Home, 56 Washington St., Wellesley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18th, at 11:00 AM. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 502 Washington St., Wellesley, followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.. The Mass will be live-streamed at: https://sjspwellesley.org/sj/live/ for those who are unable to attend.
