On August 22, 1946, Lynn Alsup Taylor Laurenzi was born in Memphis, TN. Her parents were Mary Ellen Alsup Taylor and Travis Henry Taylor Jr.
On Oct 28, 2025, in Little Rock, AR, surrounded by her family, Lynn died after a long illness.
Lynn graduated from Clarksdale Coahoma High School in 1964. She was a member of the Hall of Fame, and in the caption, she was characterized as "poised, quiet, and regally beautiful." Lynn was elected homecoming queen and Miss CCHS. She was a beautiful pianist and an amazing water skier. She later attended the Mississippi University for Women before graduating from 'Ole Miss'. While there, Lynn was an active member of Chi Omega sorority.
After college, on June 1, 1968, Lynn married Jack Laurenzi. Lynn taught elementary school in San Antonio and Clarksdale. Lynn and Jack lived in many places during their marriage, including San Antonio, TX, Stilton, England, Helena, AR, Cordova, TN, Franklin, TN, and Little Rock, AR. They were blessed with two children, Brett Likens (Randy) and John Laurenzi.
Lynn was a dedicated and successful ambassador for Premier Jewelry, achieving top sales for many years. She connected with a great many women throughout the years, helping them in their businesses, their faith, lending a listening ear, and offering loving advice. Lynn was active in her churches, the last being Chenal Valley Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Lynn suffered pain often, but most people never saw anything but a smile and a positive attitude. Her grace, class, love, and consideration were evident to all.
Besides her husband and children, Lynn leaves behind her sisters Meri Falls (Buck), Gail Cocke (Mac Hruska ), Jan Weeks (Linton), and her brother, Travis Taylor III ( Maribeth), seven grandchildren, Madison, Brennan, and Luke Laurenzi, Ellie Likens Cannon (Carson), Bennett (Johanna), Harrison and Hudson Likens, and one great granddaughter, Emerson Mae Cannon.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents and nephews, Stone Weeks and Holt Weeks. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss Lynn's calm and loving presence.
