Marcy Lynn Holmes-Zoll, 65, passed away on November 12, 2025, in Manhasset, New York, after a short but courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born on September 3, 1960, in New York City to Sonia and Martin Holmes, Marcy lived a life defined by compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to justice and family.

A proud graduate of Hofstra University, Marcy built an extraordinary career in the New York City advertising industry that spanned over four decades. Her professional journey culminated in her role as Senior Vice President of the London-based Miroma Group, where she led the New York City office with distinction. Known for her tremendous work ethic and unselfish nature, Marcy earned the respect and admiration of colleagues across the industry. Her impeccable integrity guided through her entire life—both professionally and personally.

Marcy was deeply principled and never hesitated to stand up for what she believed in. She abhorred anti-Semitism and all forms of discrimination and bigotry and was a passionate advocate against childhood hunger. Her values were not just beliefs but actions—reflected in how she lived her life and treated others.

Beyond her professional accomplishments and advocacy work, Marcy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved the theater and cherished time spent on Cape Cod. Happy hour on the terrace was a treasured ritual, often accompanied by laughter and stories shared with those she loved. A formidable Scrabble player, Marcy delighted in wordplay and strategy—always playing to win but never at the expense of fun or fairness.

Her culinary talents were legendary among those who knew her; her brisket was especially beloved—a dish that brought comfort and connection to countless family gatherings. But perhaps nothing brought Marcy more joy than being surrounded by her nieces and nephews, whom she adored with all her heart.

For 19 years, Marcy was the devoted caregiver to her mother Sunny (Sonia), offering love and tenderness through every stage of life's journey, none more so than during her Sunny's 15 month terminal illness. That same devotion extended to all corners of her world—her loving husband John; her sisters Jane and Ellen; and an "army" of nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of kindness, strength, and humor.

Marcy was adored by her loving husband John, family and friends alike—a testament to the warmth she radiated throughout her life.

Funeral services were held on November 17th at Gutterman's Funeral Home in Woodbury, NY, presided over by Rabbi Jenn Weinstein. She was laid to rest at Locust Valley Cemetery.

May Marcy's memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
